ARPANET messages to UCL-CS

For those on the Arpanet/Milnet--

Is anyone having difficulty sending mail to/through UCL-CS?  It seems
that only relatively short messages get through (and even those not
reliably).  This applies to both ucl-cs addresses and those on networks
served by ucl-cs.  

(We are running obsolete 4.1a/c Arpanet software [no 4.2 license yet!],
but don't have this trouble with mail to other sites.  We are on the
Milnet.)
