Making boot floppies for 4.2 BSD

According to the manual "Installing and Operating 4.2BSD on the VAX"
chapter 4, section 1 states:

"If the local configuration requires any changes in restar.cmd
or defboo.cmd (e.g., for interleaved memory controllers), these
	should be made now."

Well what are these changes?!? Our DEC field rep tells me that 780's
come standard with interleaved memory controllers so why aren't these
changes in the files anyway? Shouldn't the fact that the controllers
are interleaved be transparent anyway?

Thanks for any help.
