TSET can speed up BSD UNIX

Also note that if you log in from a window on (e.g.) a Sun, rows and
columns may be nonzero, and, if so, should be left as they are, because
they reflect the actual size of the window.  `rows' and `columns'
should already both be zero on any other logins, although there are
bugs here in many 4.2BSD-derived systems.
