BSD4.3/ULTRIX2.2 compatibility.

We are faced with the task providing a device driver
for a ULTRIX VAX without access to source for ULTRIX. 
We have access to the .h files on Ultrix and we observe a 
striking similarity to BSD .h files.  Before yeilding  
to our temptation to attempt a solution by simply compiling
and installing the BSD driver under ULTRIX, we thought to
ask for advice from the Wizards. The driver in question is
for the DMC11(DMR11), it is a network interface driver employing
SOCKETS and MBUFS.

We are fishing for information concerning differences between                
BSD and ULTRIX with respect to such areas as network interface
and UNIBUSS useage and the general problem of using BSD source
as source for ULTRIX.
