Someone once said:

< We at Cayman Systems are having an unusual problem: when printing large
< files (900K) to a LaserWriter connected by serial line to a Sun 386i
< running OS4, the file is truncated to about 600K (approx. 80 pages).
< We have heard that lpd will clip files to 1MB.

Don't forget to check the amount of free space left on the device where
your spooling directory (usually /usr/spool/lpd) is located.
