Nonsense. Telephone companies have known for more than ten years about
increasing modem usage. Anybody with an ounce of sense who has been
reading the microcomputer journals has known the same thing for about
ten years. A glance at any popular computer publication will show you
that increasing modem usage, far from being a secret, has been
repeatedly commented on by journalists.

Where have the telephone companies been hiding?
