Yea, Ever work for Mehta-Tech? (I doubt it, they only had 20 or so
employees.. I was luckly enough to be one of them :-)

The "desk" that I had was a door with 2x4's for legs. Another person had
a 1/2" Corn-board top and had put masking tape around the edges because it
was ripping their pants when they leaned against it!

We worked right there in the warehouse, no need for office space! They
didn't bother to have any ventillation, after all it cost more if they
opened the two 6" vents that the place did have. (6 chain smokers, an alcohol
bath and other things..)

On the other hand, Have you ever considered doing what we did for our
users? (at my Current company), we just bought them AST 286'es, they cost
about the same as the "spiffy" terminals.. and they Blow them away in
versitillity! If they later decide that they want to do a little lotus
spreadsheet, no problem!.. I think that they costs us about $2400.

I doubt that I would ever pay that much for "just a terminal"!
