Hello,
as a former DOS user, i have switched to SCO Xenix to test
it and I have a number of probably silly questions:
which file do I have to change so that I will not
get the time/date prompt at boot-up (i.e. which file
is the equivalent of the autoexec.bat under DOS?)
Also, is there something like a CONFIG.SYS in which
you can change settings?

I installed FOXBASE on the machine (am still waiting for
the rest of the applications...) and noticed it takes
a very long time to load. Do I need to set some parameters
or is SCO really that slow?

Is it possible to make an autoexec for every
MultiScreen/partition/what-ever-you-call-them so that
the second one (first background) will automatically
load a application?

Thanks for any info,
