What kind of things would you wnat in the GNU OS

There's a tradeoff between efficiency and functionality.  Personally,
I'm not willing to give up all of the above listed items for even a
50% increase in efficiency, which I don't think could be achieved even
if we could agree on a measure of efficiency.

You're welcome to hack them out of your copy of GNU, though.
