XED Word Processor file conversion?

We have a lot of sites using Altos systems and running a word processor
called XED.  Unfortunately, over the years we have amassed an incredible
number of word processing files we need to convert to some form of
revisable text (preferrably Word Perfect).

Does anybody out there know of a conversion program for XED?
