If it's any consolation, I have had the same problem. I think the DOS partition is sort of a raw device, and when you write a DOS file it has to read a very large portion of the partition. Perpaps someone else can help us both out with a solution, or maybe it will be fixed in a future version :=( Good luck. Dave Smith
