How to connect a non-standard Hard disk to a machine running SCO XENIX:

The following procedure will do the job:

- boot MS DOS
- run debug, find interrupt vector 41 (at address 0000:0104)
this vector is a long address to the table of the harddisk type stored
in the CMOS RAM by setup.
- remember the offset within the ROM
- take out the ROM BIOS from the computer
- patch the tables in your ROM, using a EPROM programmer and the IBM technical
  reference manual for the AT.
- put the ROM back in the computer
- do a low-level format
- install XENIX

An alternative procedure is:

- Wait for SCO to release their version 2.2 of XENIX V or get an update for 2.2

Disclaimer: I am in now way connected to any of the beforenamed companies,
I accept no responsibility for any problems that may occur using this procedure
I just heard of the procedure, maybe you can use it...
