It isn't stty, but the old kernel that doesn't grok 19200 bps.
The 2.2 kernel does support 19.2 kb, and I can get 1600 to 1800
cps throughput downloading to a PC running Pro-YAM or ZCOMM (using
the "sz" program on Xenix).

However, Xenix can't handle "serious" input at 19.2 kb, but it's fine
for speeding up terminals, etc.  2.2 also supports 38 kb.

No, I don't know when 2.2 will ship.
