SCO Xenix tape question

You can create an entry in /etc/default/tar, which declares a medium,
capable of storing n megabytes, which is NOT a tape (yes - a lie, but
that's neccessary)

If tar knows about the size of the medium, to which he is writing the
archive, he'll stop at the end and ask for a new tape/disk/whatever.

You should normally be able to read each volume seperately!
