I'm having an odd problem with my system and I was wondering
if anyone had ever come across this.
I recently had to reinstall my system due to a bug in the
custom program.
Normally when I'm done working for the day I just shut the
monitor switch off. (FYI: The monitor power cord is not
plugged into the computer, it's plugged into a power strip).
Since the reinstallation on 2 or 3 different occasions when
I've gone to do some work and...
TURNED ON THE MONITOR SWITCH, THE SYSTEM REBOOTS!
--------------
This SOUNDS like hardware, but who knows?
I noticed recently that my keyboard hardware switch is set
for XT mode, but it is an AT extended keyboard, could this
have anything to do with it (stab in the dark)?
I'm going to set the keyboard switch to AT mode and reinstall,
but does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks a bunch,
Jeff Holmes
