DOS to Xenix (using Fdisk)

If there is a MS-DOS partition (inactive) and a XENIX partition (active)
on your HD you can boot DOS by typing DOS at the XENIX boot prompt.
What am I missing? (I have a 32MB DOS partition on my primary which is
usually D: for VP/ix, but I can boot DOS if I wish).
