I have done most of the g++ port for Xenix. However, when I tried to
compile groff nm(C) failed to handle the identifiers > 40 characters.
ld -r truncated the symbols to 40 characters and was thus useless.
However, SCO has recently released a version of ldr(CP) that doesn't
truncate symbols, so with a bit of luck I should be get g++ up and running
fairly soon (when I get a spare minute or so!). look in alt.sources
for the patch set.
