Hi,

Two problems this time (running XENIX/386 2.3.2):

1. I need to use the modem for dial-in and for dial out to our mail/news
feed. The system I'm using (not UUCP) does not set things up properly
so whenever it tries to dial out on tty1A (which is also enabled for
callers to the system) anything it sends to the modem is decided to
be a login attempt by getty and thus login is started. This is annoying
because then I can't access the remote host. I have heard of ungetty -
could this help (ie: I need to be able to kill getty from looking at
tty1A when we want to dial out but I want it to be active on that line
   at other times).

2. uuinstall gives me a core dump when it attempts to access/modify
/etc/ttys (option 4). I have no idea but it's very strange!

Any help/comments would be greatly apprieciated.
