Help smail 2.5 on Xenix?

Hi, I have just installed smail2.5 to try and
fix the broken mailer in Xenix 2.3. I also wanted
pathalias and other neat things... Well all is well
except for a problem...

Mail is getting in and out but the headers on the mail
received are weird and they are causing elm some trouble.

Here is a header from both the old Xenix mailer (1st *) and
one from smail (2nd #):

When I bring these two messages up in elm I get a
nice from and subject listing on the message from the
Xenix mailer (*). On the message from smail I simply
get:

  from: uucp subject:

It shows no subject... Uucp happens to be the logname
given to the connection used to retrieve the mail. I
have another site (ivucsb) that if I get mail from that
site it says:

  from: ivucsb subject:

So the question is what defines or switches to I need
to throw in both elm and smail to make things happy?

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance!

Mark
