There is really no special magic involved in configuring aux terminal
printers. The name of the "/dev/tty" device depends on the intelligent
serial board you are using (and in some cases, how you installed it).

Our DigiBoard sets up terminal printer device for each terminal tty line,
with the relationship: ttyi1n has aux printer pri1n. If your serial
board was installed correctly, then these printer ports should be sitting
there waiting to be used.

The next step is to have the system send the control codes down the line
that tell the terminal to open up its printer because a report is coming.
Again, different serial board vendors implement this in different ways.
Some have a configuration file that lists all the ttys and the codes to
send to open and close the aux port on the terminal. Some (DigiBoard)
allow you to specify the codes on a command line when you invoke the
serial board software to handle the handshaking. You will have to refer
to the manual for your board to know what to do.

There's one gotcha that I am aware of: some terminals require that pins
2 & 3 (Tx Rx) be reversed. If this is the case, you can't just stick a
cable pinned for a terminal onto your aux port and into your printer.

Good luck with it. If you have trouble, email me and we can work through
the details.
