IS THERE A CAI AUTHORING TOOL FOR THE PART-TIMER?

I would greatly appreciate any information about authoring courses
with tools available under UNIX.  In particular, could I get a
version of the no longer supported "learn" (for use among AT&T sites).
I am afraid that just getting someone who isn't already supporting
the new stuff to support it would be a major impediment.  Can anyone
with authoring experience confirm or disprove this suspicion?
