Stop those silly little comparisons!

STOP! That has to end! You know what I mean, all those,

"XXX" is some fraction of a VAX.

You people sound like the IBM users of the 1960s after the System 360
came out. Like the ad says, "Throw away those silly (rose) little glasses!"

Either forget that mid-1970's architecture, or at least
give more information to clarify. What type of VAX? 730, 750, 780?
What about memeory? Which 68000? 5 MHz, 8 Mhz, 10 MHz, 16 MHz? I see
that the Fortune 32:16 and Lisa use the first, the Mac and the Blit use
the second, the SUN and Bitgraph (I think) use the third, and I have heard
that benchmarks of the latter run circles around a VAX 780. If it is
some fraction of speed, then tell what the stupid box is doing (processor
intensive, memory intensive, IO, some mix?).

I know it's important for purchasing, etc., but let's be a bit more
precise.
I, personally, am awaiting comparisons of VAX successors like Elxsi.
More power to the user!
