Want a word processor

We're looking for a "good" word processor to run either on a VAX running
4.2BSD UNIX or an IBM-PC running MDOS. It needs to be simple enough to
use for people not familiar with computers (e.g., secretaries). We're
even willing to pay for one. Anybody know of any?
