VAX/VMS data -> tar data ??

	We have a VAX running VMS 4.2 and I am wondering if anyone out
there has a way of making tar tapes from such a system. No, we don't 
have Eunice...   (this isn't worth a *lot* of trouble, but some researchers
want some of our data in tar format.)  Anybody out there got some utility
we can use ? (we have C compiler...)
