I get that about once a week also.  I have a 300, and have upgraded to 2.0.4.
I haven't ever seen the i/o system just stop, though.  The characters get
consistently lost in big chunks.  Every time you do a screen refresh, maybe
every other chunk off 100 characters disappears.  You can only reboot.
Must be a bug in the 2.0.4 tty driver...
