No, it doesn't!  It keeps seconds past midnight as an 18 bit integer,
month as a 6 bit integer, day (withing month) as a 6 bit integer, and
YEAR AS A 6 BIT INTEGER BASED ON 1964.  I.E. the current value of the
year cell is 20.

Thus the format breaks in the year 2028...
