scrolling screen on unixpc*

This is one I'd like to know too.  I drives my crazy not to be able
to backtrack.  

I do know that if I'm cu'd to another machine, *sometimes* the PREV and
NEXT buttons work, but that's not even consistent.  If someone has a
solution, please post it to the net!
