Where to find WD2010 for 3b1 upgrade?

$100 for two (2) of the WD2010 chips?

Jeez, who you dealing with, the Devil?

I just picked up a brand new WD2010-AL; 05-02; B048 in the ceramic package
for $10.50 at ACE Electronics in Sunnyvale, CA. Plugged it in to one of my
7300s (along with a new Miniscribe 3085 HD) and it worked just fine; only
problem is that now I need the "new" diagnostic disk to format beyond the
1024 limitation of the present UNIXPC software (apparently the existing
software does its thing modulo 1024).

I'm planning on picking up some more of these chips; perhaps a group buy is
in order? If interested, lemme know (via email) and I can arrange to pick
them up.

For reference, the Miniscribe 3085 is a half-height, ST506/412, MFM drive
whose characteristics are:

     7 heads
  1170 cylinders
    17 sectors per track

and average access time of 22 milliSeconds.

Power requirements are:

     12 VDC 2.6A
      5 VDC 1.0A

Since the power supply in the 7300 provides 3.5A @ 12VDC and 20A @ 5VDC, this
drive is well within the safety margin. And it's fast (and noisy).

More update later ...
