No idea on this rumor, but if you're asking for a bet, bet against it.
:-)  Too many companies and people have stated that they're going to
do something Real Soon Now for the 3b1, and it never happens, mostly
because they determine after the fact that the market isn't large
enough or stable enough to make product development reasonably
profitable.
