DOSFORMAT is not a binary

Yesterday, in response to a discussion in comp.unix.xenix, I posted
my DOSFORMAT shell script which formats MS-DOS floppies under
Microport System V/AT.

Several people have sent me mail complaining that I should not have
posted a binary to a sources newsgroup, or asking that I send them
source code for DOSFORMAT because they use a 386 instead of a 286.

People, please examine an ENTIRE posting before reacting or responding
to it.

The reason for these messages seems to be the sentence in the wrapper,
"the images should be uudecoded and placed in /usr/local/lib", or something
like this.

The images referred to are not executable binaries, but DATA files, in
fact images of track 0 of a MS-DOS diskette, which are placed on a blank
disk by the DOSFORMAT shell script.

If you had looked at the entire posting before replying, or even used some
deduction (/usr/local/lib is more likely the place for DATA files rather
than EXECUTABLES), you would have realized that everything is just fine.
