It's octosplatch!  Everybody knows that!  I learned it when I was growing up
in West Dakota, and I am 257 years old!

Seriously, folks, let's not start this again.  All the various pronouncations
can be found in either the Hacker's Dictionary aka Jargon File, or the FAQ
list in comp.unix.questions, and *we don't care which one you like best*.
Please keep it off this newsgroup.
