Why?  The decompression stuff is transparent and so much easier than having
to uncompress the file before reading or piping it through zcat (If your
system has it).  It's great,  I keep docs compressed now so that I can
read them whenever and not worry about them taking up bouco space.

Maybe a switch in the makefile (I believe it's there, if you don't want
it you can use a -DNO_JULES <I think>, maybe change it to NO_DECO for
better understanding).
