VDC750 to (standard) EGA pinout map

I have a 6386 with the VDC750 and an AT&T EGA monitor. I would like
to exchange monitors to get a 14" screen on the 6386. The AT&T
video card has a DB25 connector while all my other EGA cards and
monitors have DB9 connectors. Does anyone know the pin mapping to
make an adapter cable to connect the DB25 to a DB9 which will work
with the normal EGA monitors.

If it were possible I may rather switch to a VGA card and Monitor
which I also have available. Looking at the VDC750 card reveals
additional power lines from the board directly to the power supply.
Can the VDC be used with the AT&T EGA monitor in a standard AT
compatible, and the standard (VEGA VGA) board and VGA monitor used
in the 6386? Does anyone have the specs on the extra power lines
on the VDC750?

A question for the company that keeps advertising "standards" and
"open systems". Why is everthing on the 6386 so different from
all the other 286 and 386 machines we use? Everthing is interchangable
between all these machines from many different manufacturers until I
get to the 6386. Perhaps I need a new dictionary to understand the ads.
