X11 fractal program <from comp.sources.x>

  i recently copied over from comp.sources.x a fractal program
  that runs great on our suns, and dec machines...

  when i tried to "make" it on my 4D25, the makefile wouldn't even
  work... below is the makefile with the error....

  I cant figure out why it doesnt work....and more importantly,
  why it works so well on the other machines.  this is not good.....
