Enclosed is a shar file containing a program called Palette. This tool
should save a great deal of time and frustration for anyone who has to
build color schemes for a SunView program or raster image. Here are the
first two paragraphs from the man page.

Palette is a colormap editing tool. It can modify the
colormaps being used by other windows, or create new color-
maps. Colormaps may be saved as C code for inclusion in a
program, or in raster file format.

As a programming tool, Palette can be used to modify an
application's colormap arrays, thus eliminating the need to
make incremental changes to the code, with time-consuming
recompilations between each modification. As a graphics
tool, palette can be used in conjunction with bitmap editors
such as touchup(l) which have little or no colormap modifi-
     cation abilities.
