ie1: panic

We have had two machines crash due to this error:

	ie1: panic: iexmitdone: tbds out of sync

One is a 3/160 and the other is a 3/280.  The 280 has only an ethernet
loopback plug on ie1.   The 160 has a small net with a couple of Kinetics
FastPaths/4's and a Delni on ie1. They both are running 3.4 at the moment.
Would this be something fixed by going to 3.5? 

(We had the second ethernet board replaced, but this did not help.)
