A company that may be of help is Matrix Instruments of Orangeburg, New
York. You are correct that they acquired Dunn Instrument sometime in
early '87. Some of the confusion you may be having is that they make both
analog(RGB) and digital film recorders. In their analog line they have
several models ranging upto a scan rate of 64KHz. This may be enough but
the unit that we have is a 32KHz model so we are not able to test this.
The film recorders are separate from the film back...you can have a 35mm
back, a polaroid back, 4x5 back, and a 8x10 back.

You can contact:
   Joao Leite
   Product Marketing Manager/Analog Film Recorders
   1 Ramland Rd.
   Orangeburg, NY 10962
   (914)365-0190

We have delt with them for the past year and they seem to b a good group.
