Need small, cheap disks for dataless nodes

One poster recently recommended using small, cheap disks for /tmp and swap
on dataless nodes. He mentioned 40-Meg disks for $450. The only disks I
have seen of that description are Mac disks. What is the current wisdom
of using Mac disks on Suns? Is there any company marketing the necessary
cables, etc? Are there any other issues other than ones of physical
connection (drivers, etc)?

Are other cheap (less than $1000) disks available for use as /tmp and swap
for Suns?

[[Ed's Note: v8n196 contains the 'cheapo' disk article. I think most
of the hard drives are actually IBM series drives, not Mac drives, though.
