You can make all the silly jokes you want.  I work at Digital but I have a
Sun machine to test X11 applications.  Digital even sells XUI for Sun
users!  My comments were very honest ones...whether you like them or not!
I have purchased several 3rd party Sun packages that never met true VT
emulation specs....and yes, I spent good dollars on those stinking
packages!  I am a Sun user...so please don't gimme that ****

As far VT terminals go, DIGITAL is the standard.

Another point, xterm is a hack that breaks many ANSI standards/specs.
Even the MIT folks know this...and it cannot emulate anything beyond a
VT100.
