has anyone out there got a SUN with a 24 bit screen?? There are now TAAC,
TC (true colour) and some GXP or other that support 24 bit displays, so us
image processing people are wondering if it is worth moving from (usually
unsupported or just wierd) 3rd party boards to the SUN stuff. They do seem
to be very graphics oriented so what do people think about using them for
image processing - for example: use of memory mapping, Sunview interface,
use of graphics routines for panning.. etc Please post replies to me and
I'll sumarise. Thanks in advance!
