Spreadsheets yet again

I am considering the purchase of a spreadsheet for company wide use.

I am disappointed that the Lotus product is Sunview based and tend away
from it for that reason. I am also not thrilled about it's apparent
constriction not to wander to far from the DOS product, which keeps it
from taking fuller advantage of a Unix/windowing environment. I understand
that there will be an OpenLook version in the next few months, but I don't
want to exercise any more patience than absolutely necessary.

I was impressed by the Wingz demo I saw at Unix Expo here in October, and
will soon take a closer look at the product - but I just read a rather
alarming posting describing the product in largely negative terms.

I have the PD spreadsheet SC, and it is not fully featured enough for my
users. I am willing to pay what I have to to get the best spreadsheet
available - I want my (new to Sun/Unix) users to have a good experience
with the network and a good spreadsheet will be a big factor.

Any suggestions ? Horror stories ? Preferences ?
