Sunview: Want to "back" window upon detecting "close"

I made some modifications to the "contool" program such that when messages
come in, it "front"s the window to make sure you can see the Stop sign.
That works fine, but I also wanted to "back" the window when the window
goes from "open" to "closed".  I can't figure out how to detect that the
window has changed state from open to closed.  I only want it to "back"
the window when it has just changed state.  I don't want it to "back" it
whenever it finds it is closed.

Is there any way to do this?
