|There were lots of mail problems here during February due to some of the
|performance problems we were having with the new pyramid.  Among these
|problems were

|	1. long delays in mail going through uunet (3-4 days)
|	2. inability to reach our SMTP port at many times
|	3. strange rmail error messages (status 247) sent out
|	4. truncated messages (no body)
|	5. probably a lot more I don't know about yet...

|We realize that many sites had large backlogs accumulate for us.  Believe
|me we had a large backlog ourselves.  We have been running on our Sequent
|since Sunday and everything is running much nicer.
