Longer cables for SCSI disk???

I have an R-Squared (Fujitsu) SCSI disk on a Sparcstation 1+. Although it
is not very noisy, it would be nice to put it farther away in an adjacent
room. Are longer cables available and how long can they be without
substantial loss of performance?
