DECstation Manager's mailing list

I've created a new mailing list called decstation-managers at ornl.gov.
It's modeled after the sun-managers mailing list and shares the same
policy.

In short, decstation-managers is an unmoderated list intended to
provide DECstation system administrators with a quick-turnaround
troubleshooting aid.  Answers to posters' questions are mailed
directly to them, where they are summarized and sent out to the list.
This keeps the number of messages to a minimum.  Discussion is very
strongly discouraged.

Systems that fall under the DECstation label currently are the 2100,
3100, and 5000 MIPS-based workstations running Ultrix.  VAXstations
and the larger RISC DECsystems are not valid topics of discussion
except in areas overlapping the DECstation realm.

Requests to have addresses added or removed from the list should be
mailed to decstation-managers-request at ornl.gov.
