Automount directories (NFS)

We have a problem with the NFS automounter. We have several NFS
servers which have multiple exported filesystems, and which have
relative soft links crossing each other.

    Filesystems:
	/host/fs1
	/host/fs2
    Link:
	/host/fs1/link1 -> ../fs2/file2

This works on Sun's implementation of the automounter because it
mounts the directories using the same hierarchy as the fictitious
mount points:

    Fictious mount points:
	/host/fs1
	/host/fs2
    Real mount points:
	/tmp_mnt/host/fs1
	/tmp_mnt/host/fs2

As a result, the relative soft link which crosses the file systems
still works as expected. However, on R/6000, the real mount points
are all at the same level:

    Real mount points:
	/tmp_mnt/auto60R7rzhU
	/tmp_mnt/auto61R7r2Um

and as a result, the relative soft links fail. Has anyone else
noticed this? Perhaps there is way to change the real directories
which I have been unable to find in the documentation.$$
