This is correct. However, IBM has announced AIX 1.2.1 for the PS/2
family of computers. This version of AIX is to pick up where 1.2
left off - with the same bugs, features, etc.

AIX 1.2 has not been certified for the PS/2 90 and 95.

AIX 1.2.1 IS certified for the PS/2 90 and 95.

Wrong. AIX 1.2 will never be certified for the model 90 and 95.

AIX 1.2.1 has already been certified for the model 90 and 95.

IBM is devoting most of the PS/2 AIX resources to porting the OSF/1
kernel over to the PS/2 (and thus the model 370's).

AIX 1.1, 1.2 (and now 1.2.1) were developed by IBM and Locus
Computing as a joint project between the PS/2 and the Model 370's.
Most of their efforts and bug fixes have gone in to making the two
machines work together. This was important as the Model 370's do
not know how to talk to ASCII terminals; they need the PS/2's in
order to do that.
