A3000UX problems, help.

Yes, this is fine. If you don't use RFS this message appears. No problem
it's normal.

Did you use the 1.1 install script? You are currently using the wrong
kernel in your machine. The 1.1 install floppies will find out for
themselves how much memory you have installed and will use the
right kernel.

This is the procedure you have to follow to change the kernel 'by hand':

# cd /stand
# ln A3008unix /unix
# ln A3008unix /stand/unix
# cat coffboot unix > /dev/dsk/c6d0s3
# cd /
# shutdown -i 6

Make sure that you use the correct HD-partition to put the kernel on. Here
I used c6d0s3, but that could be different on your system.
