Another A/UX question, re: rn

If we do get an A/UX machine it would be used primarily for mail and news.
Thus we would need to bring up rn (and maybe other news programs?) without
much work. Does the A/UX distribution come with rn? If not, how easy is it
to get it running? What about all of the uucp stuff?

Has anyone gotten Hayes-compatible modems working as dial-in devices? My
(possibly flawed) understanding is that 2400 bps models won't work right.
I believe this problem is endemic to all SysV based systems. If you have
a dial-in line working, what modem are you using?

Thanks in advance,
