GNU Emacs on the (say it softly) Mac

Sorry to take up the bandwidth *AGAIN*, but I've just recently
received (sort of) access to remote FTP.

Can someone tell me if Apple still has patched versions of GNU EMACS
on the Mac for A/UX 1.1? If so, where are they--I tried looking through
apple.apple.com, but didn't see them.

If not, can someone let me know where I can get a copy?
(I'll even take patches to source, but since I've got ~10 MB left on my
disk w/o GNU EMACS source, I'd rather not...)

I'd appreciate explicit details on where to get them, since my access to
remote FTP is through e-mail to my brother who then FTP's and sends the files.
(ie: please send directory, Internet address, etc.)

Replies via the net (if you think its warranted), or to:

Also: any chance APPLE might set up mail archive-server type access to the
stuff on apple.apple.com ?? I'm sure that would make a lot of people
without Internet access happy. (I know I'd like that if I didn't have
my psuedo-FTP capability).

			Thanks in Advance
